The interface layer
The interface displays controls, information and the presentation of results. It is the easiest layer to observe. Useful illustration can improve usability, but does not establish the quality of every system behind it. Record a visual observation as a visual observation.
The rules layer
Rules explain how actions and results are interpreted within the product. Identify the document and version used, where available. Compare promotional terminology with game instructions before describing a mechanism. If information is incomplete, identify what remains unknown.
The technical-assessment layer
The UK regulator describes testing as part of its approach to fairness within its jurisdiction. A testing claim should identify the relevant product and scope. A logo without explanation does not establish what was examined. These layers help a slot article distinguish observation, documentation and attributable technical claims.
